For Literature, the people here are Antonio, Shylock and the duke (in the legal case). I wanted to sort of make this contrast between Antonio and Shylock, since in my head, they are sort of the play’s leading characters. They are the play’s main feud/rivalry, and the whole story sort of revolves around the. This scene is during the court scene, when Antonio appears victorious and Shylock becomes really sad (but later becomes a little content when Antonio gives “mercy”). This sort of shows in how I drew him to appear more old and frail.
